By default, actual DICOM images are deleted from Radweb servers after 3 months. In this case, the study and reports will remain on the list, but opening the study does not display images.

Such studies might have a “0” in series count and image count columns.

Radweb servers have unlimited storage capacity and clients are free to subscribe to long term image storage at a small fee. The charges are dependent on volume of data received and stored.

In case your institution has an active long term storage subscription, images will be retained and accessible for the agreed period.

With long-term image storage and easy image distribution/sharing, it might no longer be necessary to print films for all studies, saving costs.
