Display Drivers

For optimal use of your available hardware, please ensure that your computer’s display drivers are installed and up to date.

Be sure to check display drivers after a fresh Operating System installation.

On a Windows PC, do one of the following

Option 1:

In Windows taskbar/start menu search box, type “dxdiag” and open the app.

Click on Display (1) tab and check that Display Memory value is not 0. A value of 0 indicates that your display drivers may not be installed

Option 2:

Right-click on your Windows start button and select Device manager.

On device manager, look for “Display adapters” entry and expand it.

If your display adapter is indicated at “Microsoft Basic Display adopter”, your display drivers may not be (properly) installed.

If your device does not have display drivers installed, please proceed to install them from your device’s website.

You may also use applications like DriverEasy to update display and other drivers on your PC.

Even when the drivers are installed, an update may help to further improve performance.

You may contact your IT team or reach out to us for assistance on this.

If your drivers are properly installed and up to date but computer is still sluggish, please see the page on Computer specifications.
