In a typical setup, images are sent from modality equipment via DICOM network service to a pusher application on a local PC/server.

The pusher application then processes these images and transmits them to main Radweb server.

On some X-ray systems, the Radweb pusher app is installed directly on the X-Ray acquisition console, eliminating the need for a separate PACS computer.

There are also some institutions where images are sent from modality to a different DICOM system on a local PC/server from where a user forwards then manually to Radweb.

In case a modality equipment is not capable of sending DICOM images via the network but can save to a network folder, we can configure our pusher to watch the network folder and automatically upload such files to Radweb.
