Viewing Prior Studies

To view prior studies:

Under User settings (top right of Radweb interface), select the criterion that Radweb should use to conclude that studies belong to the same patient. Options are name and patient ID. Default is name.

If your institution enforces patient ID uniqueness, please select Patient ID option.

In some cases, e.g where one user account is used by several persons, editing of user settings might be disabled. Please contact us if necessary.

Enable prior studies pane on Radweb. If priors pane is not visible, click on the small button with two arrows at bottom right of Radweb interface under Study manager.

Click on the study of interest under Study manager.

All studies that match the selected study based on the criterion selected above will be shown in the prior studies pane.

You, must have rights to the study to see it in priors. If the study is on Radweb but you have no permission to see it, e.g it was done at a facility whose studies you have no rights to access, it will not appear on the list.

Note that the selected study will be among the priors list.

To open the studies in viewer simultenously, select up to 4 studies e.g by using Ctrl or Shift keys on the keyboard then click "View" or "View new tab" buttons to open the studies either in main Radweb tab or in new browser tab.

To report, be sure to select the right study by clicking in the appropriate study box before opening reporting window.

It goes without saying that users should excecise caution when using this feature to avoid mixing up patients.

Radweb relies on available information to identify prior studies. The effectiveness and accuracy of this feature will depend on the discipline of staff as regards patient registration.

Check out the section on Opening Multiple studies Simultenously for more details on the subject.
