There are two modes of report locking:

1. Automatic report locking either imediately after signing or 24 hours after signing.

2. Manual report locking by clicking a button (see below). Anyone, including a report dispatch clerk may be given this right.

By default, reports are open for editing indefinitely by the author. It is recommended that radiologists call the service center to inform them of any consequential changes in report after initial signing.
